We exist first to make our community better; we just happen to work in insurance. I have always believed that if we focus on being and becoming the right people, people of character, we will have and do all that is needed to make our community better. Our entire team was chosen with these basic principles in mind.

My life of service began as a young man. I am a proud veteran of the U.S Navy, and I am from a family of veterans. We believe in there is honor in giving to something larger than ourselves. I believe this trait came from my mother, a 33 year educator. I watched her give selflessly, day-in and day-out, my entire life. I chose military service as a natural extension of her example.

I followed my mother's example when I moved to Hays County in 1996 to attend then Southwest Texas State University. I lived and worked in Hays County as both a classroom teacher and a school administrator. My wife, a retired teacher, and I have raised our children in Hays County with the same values of service to others and by applying character and work ethic in all we do. I believe in the concept of insurance as a way to serve. We protect people from loss, remove the uncertainty of the unexpected, and we serve as comfort in weak moments, always with building a better future in mind. This is no tagline for me. This simple concept is a way of life.

When I am not at work, I am with my wife and children in the hill country. We are active in our kids' lives, and we plan activities that keep us all together.
